What file formats do you accept for manuscript uploads?
We currently accept .docx (Microsoft Word) files. This is the industry standard format and allows us to accurately parse your manuscript's chapters, formatting, and structure. Support for .pdf and .epub is coming soon.
How long does it take to receive my review or report?
Most reviews and reports are completed within 2 hours of submission. For longer manuscripts (over 100,000 words), it may take up to 4 hours. You'll receive an email notification as soon as your report is ready in your dashboard.
What's the difference between a Book Review and a Book Report?
A Book Review provides an opinionated, persona-driven critique of your work — think of it as what a specific type of reader would say about your book. A Book Report is a more structured, analytical breakdown covering plot, characters, pacing, themes, and market positioning.
How do the AI reader personas work?
Each persona is a finely tuned AI model designed to simulate a specific type of reader — with defined age, education, personality traits, reading preferences, and biases. When you select a persona, the AI reads your manuscript through that lens, giving you feedback that mirrors how that demographic would genuinely react.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your manuscript is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share, sell, or use your content for training purposes. Once your report is delivered, you can delete your manuscript from our servers at any time through your dashboard.
Can I get multiple reviews from different personas?
Yes! That's one of Robook's most powerful features. You can order multiple reviews from different personas to see how various reader demographics react to the same manuscript. Each additional review is a flat $15.
